Glossybox September 2013 First Impressions

After a tiring night at work, to my joy my September edition of Glossybox had arrived and I couldn't wait to play with my new treats. This month's theme is London, with a very patriotic box to boot! With LFW starting this Friday the theme works wonderfully as all eyes with be on the Capital.

The look of this month's box. Glossyboxes retail for £12.95 including P+P

GB Include a product card listing the products, full size value and how
to use them, as well as a magazine tying in the theme of the box

The products I received! This month I got products from Eylure, Dr. Lipp,
Elizabeth Arden, Toni & Guy and Be A Bombshell.

Swatches of the Be A Bombshell eyeliner I received.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Onyx Eyeliner Full Size $14 for 3g
This eyeliner is a liquid felt tip style, and is on the chunkier style of things. I would definitely consider this a good liner for beginners, the product is fairly well pigmented, and the tip itself is quite firm so easy to control, my only issue with this eyeliner (and indeed others which are similar) the tip tends to become less firm and the product can dry up quickly - I hope that doesn't happen with this one!

Elizabeth Arden 'Untold' Eau de Parfum £31.50 for 30ml
Described as a 'modern floral fragrance' which I feel is bang on the money, this fragrance could suit a wide range of women. I feel it is a sophisticated scent, but definitely something I, at the ripe old age of 20, could wear. I don't know if I'd splurge on the full size of this perfume (after all, I've just gotten Viva La Juicy Noir) but I will merrily use this sample up.

Eylure Pre-Glued Lashes £5.06 for one set
I think this is a fairly good idea, I, as a complete lash noob never know how long to wait, how much glue to put on and just end up ripping them off and going false lashless. I'm excited to have a go with these and hopefully hone those lash applying skills.

Toni & Guy Classic Shine & Gloss Serum £7.19 for 30ml
As a big T&G user, I'm surprised to say that I've never tried this product, or indeed much of their 'classic' collection. I think this will be a nice little treat for the ends of my hair

Dr Lipp Nipple Balm For Lips £11.50 for 15ml
This product I think I was the most excited to try out, I've heard so much hype! I tried this out on my lips and it was very thick, and felt very nourishing! I'll have to give it a few more goes before taking the plunge to buying the full size!

Overall I'm quite a fan of this month's box, all these products I know I will use up so I'm definitely getting my money's worth, in the magazine it talks of AW13 trends ahead of SS14 hitting the catwalk this weekend, also gives you a few money-off offers (including HD Brows which I am so snapping up!)
